Join us on March 24, 2020 for the start of training. 
Partner Software wants to invite you to Athens, GA for our 2020 Spring Training event. This three-day training event will include multiple hands-on sessions, lunch, a Wednesday dinner and drinks, and lots of valuable one on one time with the Partner Staff! Bring your questions, your troubles, your ideas, and let us help make this another year of great achievements!

We will be hosting a Monday evening happy hour and a Wednesday night shindig. We hope you can make it to both along with the sessions we will be hosting. The schedule is below along with descriptions of the classes. Be sure to register with the EARLY BIRD registration by January 31, 2020, to get a great discount!

FIELD DESIGN

Tuesday: Field Design – Learn the basics of the Partner Map Viewer and the core functions of Partner Field Design such as job creation and how to properly stake jobs in Partner.

Wednesday: Field Design Part 2 – Day two of Partner Field Design training focuses on FD features and functionality such as Manage Alternatives, Job Attachments and Staking with GPS.

Thursday: Advanced Field Design and New Features –Attendees will work through complex exercises and drills designed to answer specific questions that have arisen from their experiences with Partner. Prior to attending, participants will be asked to submit various challenges they are encountering with field design, which will be addressed during this session. New features that are being added into Field Design, such as the Work Verification Assistance Tool and Unit Change Out will also be showcased.

**Class requirements: a laptop with a copy of your utility’s current viewer.**

MAP PUBLISHER

Tuesday – Wednesday: Essential Map Publisher – This course explores the configuration and maintenance of maps and data using the Map Publisher. The instructor will aim to expand student knowledge and simplify software utilization by focusing on the best practices for configuring and maintaining the Map Publisher. Attendees of this session will leave with a sound understanding of how to make better maps for their utility.

Thursday: Advanced Map Publisher – With the assistance of Partner technicians, students will get an opportunity to employ skills learned in the Map Publisher Fundamentals course and have the opportunity to observe other peers as they make changes to their utility’s maps. Attendance to the Map Publisher Fundamentals classes are prerequisites for this course.

**Class requirements: a laptop with a copy of your utility’s current Map Publisher and 3 utility-desired changes to the production Map Publisher.**

DISTRIBUTION INSPECTION, VEGETATION MANAGEMENT, AND DAMAGE ASSESSMENT

Tuesday: Distribution Inspection – Identify techniques to speed up the processes necessary for inputting your inspections. End users will be trained on application utilization for both the desktop and iOS devices. Learn the best practices for inspecting and filtering to quickly, efficiently and easily access your data. Attendees will come away from this session with a new respect for the Filter Table and how to track data and spot trends across thousands of inspections.

Wednesday: Vegetation Management – Make sense of your utility’s specific cycles for spraying chemicals, clearing feeders or hitting hot spots conveniently in the Partner Map Viewer. Learn different methods of mapping vegetation to create an effective vegetation cycle using the desktop application and iOS devices. Attendees will also be shown how to master filter table techniques so that providing reports is a breeze.

Thursday: Now that Damage Assessment is also available on iOS devices, it is easier to gather information rapidly in the field. Class participants will learn how to quickly report damage and provide updates. Attendees will also learn how to create filers and export data to generate reports showing the damage during an event.
